At Bermuda Dunes Flight Training, the philosophy is simple: honesty, candor, and a relentless focus on making you a safe, competent pilot. There is no fluff here. I believe in a straightforward, no-BS approach to instruction. The direct feedback and return business from our students make one thing clear—it is refreshing and exciting to train in an environment that cuts through the noise and gets straight to the reality of flying.
Aviation in the Blood
Flying isn’t just a career; it is a family legacy. My grandfather on my mother’s side flew the P-51 for the 462nd squadron in WWII. That deep-seated respect for aviation was instilled early. My grandfather is the central figure in the vintage photo below, standing proudly alongside his crew in front of their P-51 Mustang ‘Forever Amber’.
31 Years in the Making
I have been flying for 31 years, but the passion started when I was just 3 years old. Over three decades in the cockpit means I have made all the hard mistakes so that you don’t have to. My goal is to pass that hard-earned knowledge directly to you, saving you time, money, and frustration on your journey to earning your license.
Whether it was the early days hanging around CP Aviation or logging hours over the ensuing decades, airplanes have been a constant in my life.
